Not sure what you mean by fixed quote Mr Darn, can you explain this for me,

Many thanks.

Not a problem Pete: examples follow:-

This is a broken quote, the end of the formatting has been accidentially removed--->[/qu

the top quote is how it should look.

Just a quick edit to clean the post up, nothing to worry about! ;)

Hope this helps!

Thanks Mr Darn, I do now understand.

I could not reply to your previous post as I received a (open quote can not reply) warning, not sure what was causing this.

i believe this is because the message you are replying to has had the formatting altered, make sure there is both a quote and a /quote there wrapped in [ and ] you know what i mean?

the [ quote ] starts a quotation, and the [ /quote ] ends it. (although there will be other info in the first one, ie name='Mr Darn' time='11.00' etc)

It was your post Mr Darn that I was replying to, it was the post about you telling me what the problem was.

Maybe, or maybe i'm just sick of the tests. Best to be blunt, that way there is no confusion.

What happened to missvic!?

I wondered why she's never online!

:o

Missvic still calls in every day, the reasons why she is rarely posting are personal to her and do not concern the forum.

What happened after her 'power trip' tho? did i miss something?

That way you are never sure if were here or not!

what difference does it make? some people like their privacy!

Exactly, if it makes no differance why bother?

Privacy? Displaying a username is hardly giving away privacy.

Ah well, whatever.

withj me its more what the 'last click' link gives away. i dont see why other users should be able to see what i'm reading, or how long its been since i was last here.

Dunno about anyone else tho...
