Alan Edgar (Eggy1948) 1,199 Posted August 10, 2016 Report Lawrence Pattison updated the Facebook post on Bygone Bedlington :-'The Wheatsheaf was my Grandas pub until he got TB [my Mams Dad] .The pub was closed, 1938 or 39, after he died and was then converted into flats .My Grandma got a sweet shop at Bebside opposite the school just past the Asda roundabout.' No update on the 1950's for the date the pub was demolished.
