James 153 Posted March 9, 2021 Report From Stephen Martin’s booklet on Bedlington – “The old mill at the top of Bedlington Bank was built in 1821. Called Petrie’s mill, it was initially worked by a windmill and later by steam.”

This photo of the plaque was taken by @John Fox (foxy) The plaque reads :- B. U. D. C. ROAD WIDENED NOVEMBER 1902 JOHN CRAMER CHAIRMAN HENRY SADLER VICE CHAIRMAN CUTHBERT BROWN A.MIC? SURVEYOR
