sissinghurst 3 Posted February 18, 2009 Report Hi Carole; I do like that garden; who is the lucky person--or is it a public place? Thanks.
sissinghurst 3 Posted March 15, 2009 Report ok-my last comment was appreciative and conversational, or so I thought, but I've had no response....I'll try again...is it in the garden of the council's offices somewhere......? are you going to tell us....unless it's in your back garden?

Hi Sissinghurst, sorry for the very long delay, it wasn't deliberate, but I rarely use the website now. The statue is at Eggleston Hall Garden, about 5 miles from Barnard Castle. The garden is well worth a visit, and not not many people seem to know about it. This is the website http://www.egglestonhallgardens.co.uk/walk.htmlRegards, Carole
