  1. I've been using a Canon 500D. I was tempted by the high def movie mode and the flexibility interchangeable lenses brings to this. Likes... Low light performance.Interchangeable lenses.large display.High resolution.Very low time to first shot. Dislikes... Intentionally crippled movie mode that forces bodges to get full manual control. No external mic input. (Using an external Zoom H2 Audio Recorder)no 25fps option at 1080p movie mode.

  3. Hello All, On driving up through Bedlington Town Centre following the 'opening of the market place' and the Christmas Lights switch on (Well Done Tommy!), I noticed that many of the barriers are still in place, the most notable being on the Main Street. Why are these still there? - I can understand them being around the Christmas tree, and to protect the new grass, but why are they still in other parts of the Market Place? Surely, if the development is 'officially open', then it should be finished? It does look good, but why has it taken so long? It has only taken 16 months to virtually rebuild the Sanderson Arcade in Morpeth, and the Market Place seems to have taken most of 2009! Perhaps for future projects, the project managers and contractors who worked on the Arcade should be employed - they seem to get things done... Best regards 250merc

  4. Who's the source for this rumour? I'm suspicious. Should it be true, we should arrange a mass show of criminal behaviour to keep the court in business.

  5. Possibly a sign that there are not the visitors they wanted. This developement was ratified prior to the recession so it could be hitting hard. I have been to have a look at it and yes, its nice, but I really thought it would be more impressive than it is after all the 'hype'. Its still a lot better than the forgotten Shire (BEDLINGTONSHIRE) . Hopefully we can catch up. I remember Morpeth over 10 years years ago when things were run down and many shops empty and shut. It hasnt taken them long to get it how it is now. We should take a leaf from their book of redevelopment and follow suite. COUNCILLORS/MP's should be ashamed of themselves allowing Bedlington to become the forgotten land and should start rectifying things with money other than hand outs and lottery grants

  7. But that was the problem! To moderate is to moderate, personal preferences and views should not be a factor when moderating! Having right of centre views or left of centre views should not come into it when moderating! Moderators should not edit or remove posts just because it goes against their views, this was happening and we were decending into a dictatorship. That is what got peoples backs up, especially mine! The content and mood of this site has improved beyond recognition, as I have said before, views have been expressed lately and nobody has complained or been upset! The banter is great in fact it's a pleasure to be here But don't worry I'm sure that there will still be a few arguments to spice things up.......I hope! Oh! And people, keep up the good work!
