As far as we're concerned, the matter IS closed thanks. There has been no problems at our door since one of the kids has received a behaviour order(not quite an ASBO) and the police visited another one and warned his parents! We don't wish to listen to some "other story" that some of the other kids have told their parents, as do you honestly believe they'll tell it as it is? As i know their names, you are not the parent of those that the police have reprimanded but i do know the names of the larger group and a simple check informs me they are friends of those involved. This does not mean they themselves have been involved, so any "misrepresentation" of your children is not the case. We are just a little curious why you think your children have been somehow been mentioned in all of this as names have NEVER been mentioned? There are many groups of kids that roam around our estate and 99%of them are great and behave themselves. As to a "completely different story", for the last 18 months or so, the police have a detailed list of all incidents including dates, times and names of those stopped and questioned in the area at the time. They also have recordings of all calls to their office of incidents happening at the time. We have the full support of the local police and have received routine call-ins and checks at our house since the last incident. As far as we are concerned...police and local liason officers have the job done. In the meantime, it's come to light that one of our neighbours were having similar problems to us as well as a house in the next close. Neither have had any problems since then, so logically, they got those directly involved. Thankyou for your wish for us to have closure and possible apologies etc but we already have and wish to leave it at that. Jester & Family

Stupid thing is that my girlfriend works as a home carer and if she were to wear a cross around her neck (which she wouldn't) she would be advised by management to take it off in case of causing offence to anyone. She wears an 'OM' pendant around her neck and not a thing is said. I am not a religious person and I don't believe in god but if people want to express their beliefs and religion in whatever shape or form then they should be entitled to do so. I am not a christian but I think it is scandolous that nurses etc are made to remove crosses so they don't offend someone. They have every right to wear Burka's (which isn't even part of the religion). Same as all of the schools in Northumberland being changed into CofE schools. We did not send the bairn to a religious school as we are not religious yet the church have taken it upon themselves to move into (what I would class) as an under priviledged area changing everything to be emblazoned with crosses and preaching about God. Oh but they offered a free school uniform first term so everyone would overlook the fact that they were brainwashing everyone!! The bairn come home and told me that God made rainbows as a sign that there would be no more flooding, to which I told him that next time a teacher tells him that he has to reply with "Rainbows are a result of the refraction of light through water droplets in the air". Had a massive long discussion with the bairn as he was getting upset that Jesus died for us. We told him that what the school is teaching him are just stories and might not be true. I personally think that religion has a lot to answer for and its all a load of rubbish. Believe what you like im turning buddhist and moving into the hills!!!

Being a bit pedantic here I know but John Major didn't get the biggest share of the vote, he got the largest number of votes - over 14 million. I think Attlee got the largest share in post-war elections at 49.7% of the vote, but in 1945 that meant just under 12 million votes.

but who do we vote for?????? load of crap through door but no substance? I come from a long line of labour voter's but really can't decide who to vote for? We work hard n we struggle and I know a few on dole with 2 kids same as us got more than what we have to live on? so, if you work, and on low wage, the system makes you worse off than on the dole? if u an alcoholic or depressed etc.. u get disability, but if like my other half u epileptic n got arthritis but work ya !*!@# off 2 feed ya family, you aint entitled 2 any disability payments! If u work 16 hours u get free school dinners, milk, trips, music lessons etc.. but if u workin full time on same wage u get nowt? so is labour looking after the working class? NO! will camerons lot? NO! Will the Liberals? NO! Will any of the local MP's do owt for bedders? NO! ANGRY.COM!!! Cameron said MPs are the slaves n we the masters. but they do not care about any of us!This country has gone 2 pot - nanny state, people better off on dole, crime, the nhs ..... an endless list! rant rant rant...... we all could do so about the state of this country... but who can we vote for to sort it out????
