A Dementia Friends session was held at Bedlington Community Centre earlier today and there was a poor turnout as far as the residents, businesses and service providers of Bedlington were concerned. The event was hosted by MP Ian Lavery and Helen Williams of the Alzheimer's Society and I am sure all those in attendance will now have a better understanding of how they can help those living with dementia.
