BBC is probably the best broadcaster in the world and I do not mind paying my licence fee. I cannot see any commercial broadcaster coming up to the standards of the beeb. They certainly do not at present. On principle I wouldn't buy anything from Murdoch. Also in political broadcasting the BBC has always been accused of bias by all sides, they must be getting something right. The commercial stations are guaranteed to be on one side only - their own, for making money.
