    :D

i've thought about going there many times pete but i wont be able to take the pope mobile.if i get the chance i will go this tuesday. its somewhere for the wifey to take me for my birthday............i hope. i will let you know and if they will let me take photos inside i will post them.

  2. if your talking about the 'run' command box, its been omitted by default on vista.

3 ways to get it up that i know of (ooo-err matron!)

1, hold the "Windows" key and tap [R] once. release the "windows" key. the windows key looks like this:

    windowskey.jpg

2, hold [ctrl] and[alt] and press delete. choose to run the task manager, click 'file' in top left and then 'run...'

3, right click the taskbar (the bit at the bottom where your start orb (button) is)

    choose 'properties'

    click the 'start menu' tab

scrool down and check the 'run command' box

    click apply

the Run command should now be listed in your start menu.

Hope that helps, if not, try and be a little more clear with your question ;)

    OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOEEEEEEEEEEEERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

Hope to see you all soon, nearly moved now so..................

  5. It's that time of year again... the smell of the BBQ fills the air, scrawny blokes remove their shell suits in the street (to put us off our BBQ), everybody with any sense avoids Channel4 and E4 in fear of losing all dignity and self worth... And the Rock and Gem fair signs appear all around Bedlington.

'The Rock and Gem fair!', I imagine you to be exclaiming... 'How cool does that sound!'... These were exactly our sentiments too last year, on reading a sign that promises also minerals and fossils!!! A memo was programmed into me Nokia to remind us to head along for the festivities!

The interim period was filled with hopes, dreams and expectations... We were going to be greeted by a magnificent sight of Iron Pyrites and Bismuth, surrounded by vertebrate and claw of Plesiosaur and Pterodactyl… and if we were really lucky, we might have just found a bit of amber with an insect inside of which we could extract the DNA to use for all manner of scientific research…

The day came and ventured to our treasures untold, exhilarated by the promise of all things Rock and Gem… On arrival we each paid our £3.75 (such a small price for such treasures of grandeur) and crossed the threshold into a room full of unwashed new-age types in t-shirts emblazoned with wolves, native Americans and dragons… the stalls were filled with carvings of fairies and leather talisman as opposed to precious items… and worse, the fossil assembly presented itself in the guise of a few measly ammonites and a worse for wear shark tooth… a true disappointment.

We left swiftly to go for ice-cream elsewhere…

A lesson to be learnt perhaps to look for your geodes and trilobytes elsewhere…

    i hope you enjoyed your ice-cream :D:D

  6. I was wondering if anyone could help me here...

I'm having a few problems accessing the internet from time to time, but this appears to be becomming more frequent (like 3 times today)...

Anyway, I'm unable to access most sites, including my ISP homepage, BBC and Microsoft stuff... In fact the only page that it seems to allow me access is Bedlington.co.uk! This seems to be up to date, and allows me to navigate the site as usual... it seems to do this on most occasions when I am unable to access any other site elsewhere...

Usually, with a switch off of the pc and of the wireless box it seems to put itself right... but it's a reet hassle if there's limited edition 7" you're trying to outbid someone for! I have just installed the 2008 edition of Norton, but think that this problem may have occured once or twice before I did so... I am kinda suspecting something to do with automatic updates as they always seem to be downloading, but I don't really know why it would effect everything but this site...

    Any ideas?!

    Thanks! :)

who is your isp? if its bt then mine does it all the time. i can only access tinternet by ethernet cable.same on two different laptops.

  7. Right well I have two options for you in that case - there's the freeware option, and the trial version option if you are willing to spend a bit of money for the right program...

The freeware option is about as pretty as Cinderella's sisters - but it's easy enough to use, and the website gives you a few hints in case you're not sure: http://home.hccnet.nl/p.luijer/

The trial version software is approximately $30US and you get 30 days to use the program before you need to buy it. http://www.mymusictools.com/splitter_joine...oiner_26268.htm

If you think you'll be doing the cutting quite a bit then I would recommend you purchase the latter, but if its going to be for a one-off cut every so often for the likes of a phone ringtone then the freebie is more than enough for your needs.

thank you sterling for your sterling help.the download did just the trick.all i need now is the time to start altering my music files.

    cheers :rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::D:D

  8. What applications would you like to use it in? Different apps require different formats and bitrates..

I presume you mean you currently have the file as an MP3 on your computer, rather than you want it "edited into MP3"? (Isn't grammar and punctuation wonderful :) )

Give me a bit more info and I'll point you in the right direction :)

    thanks sterling

i have the file and many other on my pc as mp3 format.i am running windows xp home edition.dowmloading mp3 isnt a problem but what i want to do is take a 'slice' out of the song and use it elsewhere as an mp3/mp4 file.

thankyou any help wil be appreciated

  9. Why blame my parents?

is the schooling system not in place to teach me about life?

its funny how something like 'religious education' and 'the offside rule' can find its way into the school curriculum but something everybody needs like 'what taxes need paid and why' is missed out...

are parents really at fault or are we all at fault.is it possible to learn off everyone?

what if some kids dont have parents....... you know in the convent i was dragged up in all we had were books.

the devil dodgers can only teach so many things.

the information is out there for everybody to know. <_<<_<;)
