Brian, the FA have just charge him with violent conduct so it looks like he has to go through the same hoop again. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/t...ted/7535664.stm
I agree with Joe on the point he made about Wansbeck distric council, as far as I remember the woods were never looked after apart from the grass around the band stand. But that does not mean that Wansbeck should sherk their responsibilities when it comes to the woods. The area near the banktop down past the black bridge was always overgrown and wild not like today, they have removed most of the trees and bushes and its nearly all grass land.
While I was up in Bedlington on holiday a few weeks ago we went to a cafe in Wooler for breakfast, it cost £4 95 and the plate was like a dustbin lid, we could not eat all of it there was so much, well worth a visit.
Glad to hear you had a good time, I am partial to a bit of Asian myself, theres an Asian restaurant not for from where I work and it costs £8.95 eat as much as you want. They have a fantastic selection.
The lake at Boumersund, is this a new lake as I do not recall it? Have they put it where the pit used to be? I drove past there a couple of weeks ago all I could see from the road was cyprus tree's, it looked strange as my lasting memory of it was the pit.
I had a drive up the Barrington road on Thursday but could not see this pub, where is it? Ended up in Wooler you should have seen the river it was boming through, cany place mind, not changed much.
