At the bottom of Rothesay Terrace there used to be a co-op, they used to deliver milk but a bit further down there used to be another shop and they used to deliver milk. What was the mane of that shop its driving me mad trying to think of its name. To the left on the co-op as you looked at it there used to be a shop called Barns not sure if its still there. Help

My reference to Malcolm going for it was based upon the fact that he has demonstrated a knowledge of how councils work (on this forum). If you want to get anything done you have to start somewhere after all the Labour, Conservative and the Liberal party had to begin at some point in time even if it has taken a few years to get established. Why cant we have a common sense party and not a collection of MP's that are cleaver talkers but do nothing except listen to the minority.

Malcolm, why don't you stand for election, you have the right idea's and you obviously have your ear to the ground and are aware of what is happening. I am sure there are other people in Bedlington that are like minded and would support you. Go for it.

Looking forward to getting up there Joe, only going for a week but will be packing a lot into that week. I usually get up there twice a year but only weekends which does not give me much time to do a lot. I have got some found memories of Cambois, when we were kids we used to get the bus to Cambois just to catch the ferry to Blyth, don't think that ferry exists anymore. We are going to visit Beamish museum as we have never been there before. Regards Pete
