Thats quite typical of this day & age. Not knowing anyone in your area. I'm the same. I've been in this house now for 4 years & can only honestly name about 6 of my neighbours. We have been living in the area for 15 years so we too, used to frequent the circuit - And Yes, I agree to the reasons for its decline. We are looking to improve the Duny and entice the local community back. We too have plans afoot to install more beers. We are waiting for the planned installation of 2 real ale pumps, san miguel extra cold and strongow extra cold. We can put as many beers into the pub as we like as it is the brewery that picks up the cost of installation work. All we have to do is sell the beer!! Could be another 2 weeks before install but we will let u know. Once we have a regular customer base we are more than open to requests for additional beers. If you want a specific beer and there are enough people who would drink it - just ask. With the help of good local people giving us a try thats all we can ask. If you like it, you will come back. If you dont, well at least you were good enough to try it out. Look forward to meeting you tomorrow. (Dont be scared to give us your opinion)

Morpeth Pipe Band are to be given the Freedom of the Borough this Sat 5th April. The event takes place on Saturday Morning in Morpeth. Not quite sure what time it all kicks off but the Band are assembling at 9.30am
