  1. And I'm sorry to say that Beddies are not that common ....we have the ONLY one where we live....I've only seen 2 "in the street" in 10 years...the first I had to travel to Ludlow last yr to see! The lack of easily found timetable info just made it too hard for me Which was why I decided to wait until my hubby can travel with me to England. Hopefully next yr
  2. B<$$@ them....I'm decended from english stock...I have priority call

OMG....that's NOT cold...that's FREEZING!! It was 39 celcius here yesterday....I'll share some heat with you if you share some cold...we should be able to get it livable that way
  4. I'd love a one-way ticket to the UK...a years accomodation & a Max Mara coat! Failing that, some cool weather, (it was 39 celcius yerterday) the kids home and someone else to cook the chook!!! (that's a chicken to everyone else...lol)
  5. I wanted to qualify something about my interest in Bedlington...it's not just because of my dog .....my paternal great grandfather came out here from south of the river....but family folklore says that the rest of the family moved north of the river (possibly Bedlington area) after he and his parents emigrated....but with a name like Johnson/Turnbull they're hard to find.
  6. I think I could do that
  7. There has to be more accomodation.....perhaps within a 10 mile radius???? Actually one of the reasons I didn't make it to Beddlington last May/June (2008) was the accom situation....and I don't drive either which just made it more inaccessable for me Perhaps if this did go ahead it might help people to add to their income or make a new income stream by opening a B&B or three??????
  8. Sounds like a FABULOUS idea to me! And we over-seas Beddie owners are not nutty thanks...just a little excentric at times And if your "only" claim to fame is this wonderful little dog then I'd exploit it for all its worth
  9. Miss Bridé Bedlington
