My apologies to Mrs Jeeves Foxy. Just as I posted this I remembered the chippy. It wasn't very big and was very narrow, those being served took up most of the room, if you queued inside you had to stand with your back right up against the wall. It is funny how things come to mind when you stop thinking about them. There may have been some seating upstairs, that, I can't remember. Incidently the green car is parked outside Barclays Bank.

i can remember rhodas chip shop at guidepost also teeny rice at scotland gate also simms as well we called it simms after the name of a girl that used to work there , happy days then,

you can put the ham stock in hot or cold mix it in with the peas then put it in the oven. hope you enjoy it .

The boss cooked turkey fillet schnitzel for supper last night with boccochini (not sure of spelling) cheese grilled on top it was delicious.
you cant beet a plate of peas pudding .

Thanks Bedies, do you have to steep the peas to get the gas out? as with beans
no you dont need to boil the peas , just put every thing into the dish then into the cooker .
