Plans well underway for BedFest 2017 27th August. Both evenst are very well attended and hopefully the very few objectors are swinging round to the idea of music festivals in Bedlington. There are still a few minor issuses but nothing that can't be resolved. I am not directly involved with the street now due to so much red tape and lack of funding but only too happy to promote. Col.

Thumbs up to all involved but feeling annoyed that after planting the seed, sharing my ideas & spending 12 months on the initial planning I have not even been asked to be involved. Thanks guys.

Got t o be the worst lighting ever. Powers above got it totally wrong this time. Our estate is now so dark it's not safe to go out. Can't wait to trip over and put a MASSIVE claim in lol.

''BedRock is Back'' May 25/26th will see two days of live music throughout venues in Bedlington. Following the success of 2012 we have decided to do it all again. Saturday evening at the Market Place Club will see top show group The Nikki Summers Band supported by superb female duo Hot Flush. Tickets £5.00. All profits from the evening will be donated to Meadow Park Care Home residents fund, to whom we are keen supporters. Other entertainment on the Saturday evening will see The Koast Radio Roadshow at Bedlington Terriers football ground. Topping the bill will be new girl band Angels In Chaos www.angelsinchaos.co.uk along with local singer Chloe Fennell and other supporting acts. Sunday the fun begins at 2pm. Venues in Bedlington will swing open their doors for 10 hours of live music. From solo acts to bands it's sure, once again to be a brilliant day. All venues this year will be collecting for their own chosen charities. This year the whole event will be filmed by WooGoo productions with all money made from DVD sales going to the Teenage Cancer Trust. Please support what will be a fantastic weekend for Bedlington. Hi all, July 17th 7.30pm see's the first adult/children's busker night at the Black Bull in Bedlington. Station Entertainments & Radio Northumberland are joining forces to provide what we hope can become a regular event. All acoustic acts are welcome to join in the fun. (limited spaces) After the great success of BedRock 2012 we are hoping to continue our fundraising efforts for the Community Music & Arts Academy. Hope you can attend :0)
