Tescos Again
There's a list on this site of all the supermarkets we've had on the Tesco's site...but I can't find it. When Presto's first opened I started work there in the 70s. So when Tesco's bugger off I'm sure some other chain will take over and the staff will be retained. This is me being optimistic but I'm sure someone will take advantage of the situation.

The one I missed was Jimmy Webb. If you've never heard of him Google him and see how many hit songs he wrote for other singers!

Bookies Runners
Maggie, the Bedlington Terrier pub had many bookie's runners, i knew them well through drinking there, though didn't bet myself. But yes, they were a feature of pubs.

Hair Frost
At least five blankets, a duffle coat, thick socks, two hot water bottles (one for feet the other for tummy) and the lucky one got the cat cuddled up on top of you head.
