Hartford Hall History
One of my replies has disappeared. Maybe the Ghost! When the hall was the Miners Rehabilitation Centre. I think the upper floor was the one that came under suspicion of being haunted. Ruffty tufty miners would not have been scared of the dead surely

Hartford Hall History
Sounds interesting I have a book on Plessey and more, must do some work (research)! My mother worked at Hartford Hall and a cousin worked in the Gym (repair) It is a wonderful house in a fantastic position. Also the tales of Ken Russell and the filming of Women in Love. Ken Russell did a follow up on his filming. The Main Street had Maureen Shelly's butchers shop looking distressed and boarded up!

Hartford Hall History
An old relative now deceased, said the gates at Hartford were shiny when she first used to see them! Never been able to confirm. Pity they are no longer there or anywhere in the town.

How about a new topic of Northumberlandia Walking on the site reminds me about Cup and Ring marks. The views are brilliant and we can see it clearly from some areas of Bedlington. The Bedlington Terriers are amazing dogs and raise the profile of Bedlington everywhere in the World. Who can resist telling someone with a Bedlington that you are from the town. We have a new and I think important newcomer in our midst

Dance Hall At Bedlington Station
I hope the sink and you survived intact. I cannot blame the sink for my broken arm. A Scooter and a pavement, with a touch of more haste less speed.

Still trying to fathom out what is expected by the group. I read the stuff you all post but as the names are often made up or joke names, it seems that it is not relevant to give much away about myself. I am a local with a shared history with a lot of you. Maybe enough said.

Web "piracy" Is Good For The Major Studios - Study Result!
There are towns where people are encouraged to be the disc jockey and play seven seven inch records. Old records are still relevant, skateboarding has many videos or DVD that are set to an older play list, music spans the generations in any format. Web piracy is just a detail.ENJOY
