January 18, 201313 yr Welcome, welcome, welcome. It'll be nice with a bit of female company - even if I feel like one of the guys!
January 19, 201313 yr Still trying to fathom out what is expected by the group.I read the stuff you all post but as the names are often made up or joke names, it seems that it is not relevant to give much away about myself. I am a local with a shared history with a lot of you. Maybe enough said.
January 19, 201313 yr How about a new topic of Northumberlandia Walking on the site reminds me about Cup and Ring marks. The views are brilliant and we can see it clearly from some areas of Bedlington. The Bedlington Terriers are amazing dogs and raise the profile of Bedlington everywhere in the World.Who can resist telling someone with a Bedlington that you are from the town.We have a new and I think important newcomer in our midst
January 19, 201313 yr Hi Maggie & welcome. Do you have a younger brother? I had a friend called Tate but can't recall his given name as we more often than not used nicknames, his was Spud (obviously ... Tate/tattie/potato/Spud).

Also either join in the thread already being talked about or start your own. Its all pretty relaxed. Your suggestion about Northumberlandia...... try starting a new topic in Chat or Talk of the Town.

January 20, 201313 yr Well, my Missus was in that team as well and recognises all these names, but she's a couple of years younger than you old buggers, I've got her away looking for photos now so I'll put them on here in a short while.
January 20, 201313 yr There was a teacher at the Woody School - Mr Ferguson - and he taught Scottish dancing and what have you. One day he had us all doing the Gay Gordon and Bradford Barndance. I was scarred for life, mentally and physically. I never forgave him for that.
