Hi, I'm Jen, I found this site through my brother, I live in Lincolnshire now, but grew up in Bedlington Station. I was born in 1950, and went to Barrington school, then Station Modern. I never knew it was called 'Woody' was that after it burnt down? I lived at Roslin Park number 9, then Fontburn Rd. My Dad worked at the 'aadd pit' then Netherton. I would go to the Station through Bolam, and catch the bus to Blyth or Ashington, by going up the cut, to the miners cottages. We used to play on our 'bogies' down the cut, as it was a slight hill, we didnt have any brakes like, so there was plenty of crashes. Look forward to sharing my memories with you all.
