Brian I don't want to argue with you I admire what you have done for yourself & family. But the Syrians that spent thousands landing on a beach in lesbos there vessel wasn't called the Cheshire, what annoys me me is an immigrant having a pop at another one maybe it's a proud old British thing.. -

HPW Margaret Thackery wrote about you in previous correspondence she was curious of what your name was she did say my mum pierced her ears @ Frank & Peggy's house I'm not sure on the forum were she made the comment about you wheather it was on the gallery photos I submitted or elsewhere on the forum I do recollect she was curious about you I know she said she went to see Frank on his birthday hope it's some help marrow

In the end u get people slagging them off cos they think they no better & they end up doing governments work for them to bring the working class people's rights down.then what happens then is u don't have unions & end up with modern day Victorian hooray henries running there workforce on there terms,then u get stupid idealistic blaming immigrants for what is happening with the country remember Hitler blamed the Jews. Who does the broker blame?.

Webtrekker totally egree with you I represent 400 members the only time you see the majority of them is when your in wage negotiations or when somebody is getting sacked for gross misconduct the rest of the time workers will say what do the union do for you The thing is they don't even ask...

High pit willma,Margaret.my brother has informed me my mums cousin Frank Heron passed away he was 86 he was a miner at Dr Pit I believe.ll am sure the elder members of the forum would know him especially from the hollymount area I did post a photo of him in the gallery.

I was looking at the 1911 census,I was looking at my grandmas place where she lived which was Salmon place they had a 15 year old girl living with them who was down as a servant her previous address was put down as glebe row. I've know where glebe red is but never heard of the later,I'd be interested to know we're it is or was.

Does anybody remember the building between Millbank pl & Hudson Ave to access it you had to go down what we called the black path which was next to Sammy Leylands house all the way to the ambulance station at Allgood terrace the building was burnt down in the early seventies we used to use it as a youth club. I vaguely remember the Sally Army using it at 1 point but I would like to know who & why it was built..

If I still lived in Bedlington I would definitely get the stocks out & put 3 g Willy J & Malcolm & put as much S### that any working class person can throw at you in the Market place , shame on you ".........

He wasn't my choice,but he might rattle a few feathers I didn't know you had to reconise someone to vote for them I thought it is what they & you believe in . If Micky mouse's photo was there would he get your vote he's probably the country's best chance to stop poverty.. But I don't think he's labours best man for the job but as he was elected by his fellow brothers & sisters that's what the party has to go with.

Brian o' Neils brother John was electrician for bedlington council.John trewick went to bedlington grammar school he used to come in To see the p.e staff with his west brom gear on I think he had a sister called Ann,I think they hailed from the stakeford guide post area I maybe wrong..

Some tourists got on a rickshaw last week,from one end of Oxford St to the other & were charged £208 the old bill couldn't do Anything as they aren't licensed. I'd give them a piggyback for that much
