Barlass! If you get a new job, will you have to change your name?

Im trying to get another job in a different pub/hotel/bar, so I'll always be called BarLass

The funniest thing is ive actually become quite famous because alot of people come into the pub and say to me "excuse me, are you BarLAssOfBedlington??I think its hilarious but also a little embarassing at the same time

you can talk with your i think i so cool cause i got mr one hit wonder wasso or wat ever ya call him for you avatar grow up and get over it it so old it wants put in a antiques shop!

believe it or not we do actually have honest people in bedlington and I happen to be one of them

I do but at the minute I am only working 3 nights a week, have been passed my driving test 6 months and never drive since i passed, its bad crack thats why I need another job so i can be mobile

There`s gonna be three shops at the old maxi freeze,Tom Hennessey has the first one,next one is a bed shop (it used to be where Merlin kitchens is now) and the last one is a government office of some sort..

probably government fraud squad or summit, they need an office in bedllington coz theres ower much fiddling gan on around here. people with benefits are living in their own houses and heres us who work all our lives trying to earn an honest living and we still got nowt!!!

Actually, an avarage age of 18 is quite old compared to most people you meet drinking around here.

I was up the top end once (mind, i avoid that place like the plauge now) - and i was gobsmacked to find a 14 year old girl in the toilets of the Market Tavern - shrieking in delight at her school mates who were equally happy for her because she 'got serverd' at the bar.

Its a shame really.

Although most of them do end up at the Red Lion / Movies now, which i have named the 'Soft play' areas.

when were you last in the market tavern? miss vic will stick up for me here coz its really a nice place now. we have no under 18's in unless accompanied by adults. we have karaoke night on a thursday, live acoustic music on a friday and live rock on saturdays. Its a cracking place to drink now, im always there.even when im not working

ha ha ha..........actually the first one was put out new years day, dont want to mention their name.it was a pure accident supposedly but he owned up to it but is still yet to pay for it. the other one happened a couple of weeks ago when a young gentlemen was escorted off the premises, instead of assaulting somebody he decided to punch the window out, how kind was that??!!!!

heard that there was going to be the kitchen centre but didnt think they'd put yet another estate agents into bedlington. we need decent shops instead of restaurants, takeaways, pubs and estate agents

Theres also a karate class run by a company called ichiban on at the community centre every wednesday night 6.30-7.30 and im nearly sure you get a months free trial. greatest value for money and best quality karate classes in the north east.
