I read that the market is being moved to the front street, anyone know when and where? Will it be put at the Market Place where they had that European Market? Will there be enough room for it?

Also,once it`s moved to the Front Street, will they ban the bootsale part, since most of it`s off Ashington tip?

WDC have wanted to pedestrianise Front Street for years, they may have got their wish just as they disappear!

So what will happen to the pikeys then?

I doubt the council will want them cluttering the front street with the rubbish they try to sell. I'd never buy anything from the market anyway, regardless of where they moved it to.

You only have to look at Morpeth's famous market to see what they are aiming for.......pathetic to the extreme!

Oooh call Jamie Oliver there's a new market in town. It's bobbins, and the new one will be bobbins.
