We had a gig at Hoko 10 in town last night.. there was 5 bands on and the last band was brilliant. local lads too ... illustrators .. if you get a chance to catch them live :) go for it.. great show!!

Hoko 10? What kind of a name for a venue is that?

You would never catch the Joy Divisions or the Velvet Undergrounds playing in a dive like that. :angry:

Hoko 10 is actually one of the nicest places i've been to see local bands play.

Just down from the Theatre Royal, Pints £1.50 all night, doubles for £2, and i'm pretty sure its buy one get one free on pints before 8pm.

Lovely atmoshere, and cosy too!

Anyone who enjoys a birra acoustic; my mate's doing a set there on the 3rd Feb.
