threegee Posted August 21, 2009 Report Posted August 21, 2009 All time is an impossible call. 50 years has to be all you can aim at. Outside living memory and current culture is super arrogant.
Hamburger Pimp Posted August 21, 2009 Report Posted August 21, 2009 The compiler of this poll would appear to be suffering from musician/composer confusion.
Blank Posted August 21, 2009 Report Posted August 21, 2009 I voted Vivaldi - we share the same birthday ♥Besides, Baroque owns.
Cympil Posted August 21, 2009 Report Posted August 21, 2009 I voted Vivaldi - we share the same birthday ♥Besides, Baroque owns.Baroque? Who`s that?Classical music?I voted Chili Peppers out of the poll, but i didn`t see the bottom choice Saying that, i`m not sure who i would pick anyway..there`s loads of good music over the years. Except the 80`s and 90`s
Monsta® Posted August 22, 2009 Author Report Posted August 22, 2009 The compiler of this poll would appear to be suffering from musician/composer confusion. Here dont blame me a just noted a few from This site so if you have a problem take it up with them!
Monsta® Posted August 22, 2009 Author Report Posted August 22, 2009 would be nice if the people who votes for others to actually say who!
Andy Millne Posted August 22, 2009 Report Posted August 22, 2009 I would say a composer is also a musician
Pete Posted August 22, 2009 Report Posted August 22, 2009 would be nice if the people who votes for others to actually say who! I would have voted for Jimmy Shand
Brian Cross Posted August 22, 2009 Report Posted August 22, 2009 My vote would have gone for Willie Nelson
Vic Patterson Posted August 23, 2009 Report Posted August 23, 2009 If the question had been "Who is YOUR favorite musician" I'd say Acker Bilk, (but it wasn't !)Vic
Guest mrsvic Posted August 23, 2009 Report Posted August 23, 2009 Can I have Ray Davies? Better than Lennon and Dylan... well, until the mid-70s... Would have gone for the Old Morrissey, but his last 4 albums havn't been up to scratch (and even some of his older stuff doesn't have the je ne sais quoi they did in my youth), giving it to the Kinks on a percentage of fine tracks.
TonyC Posted August 27, 2009 Report Posted August 27, 2009 My favorite would be Ian Anderson (Jethro Tull)
pennylane909 Posted December 15, 2009 Report Posted December 15, 2009 i voted lennon.... but then again he wasnt an amazing musician, more of an amazing song writersame goes for dylan and bowie and alot of the other on that listfor me tho... i'd say hendrix... and waters/gilmour are probably the best musicians from that list there
