Bedlington Bank Trees

Featured Replies

Does anyone know who is responsible for the upkeep of the trees on either side of Bedlington Bank. My concern is that in periods of high winds it is quite possible for a tree to be blown down and onto passing traffic. I must say that driving up and down the bank daily I cannot help but notice that some of the trees look in a precarious state!

I think you are right Tomtom that is something I have noticed myself. I presume we are talking yon side of the river in which case I don't think the land is any of the Bedlington parish's as I think the river is the boundary. NCC will have a duty over the road however even if the land is in private ownership.

I think landslip is a potential problem there as well as falling trees.
