Rea
Hi,Can anyone tell me what is being built on the site of the old Aged persons home next to Meadow Park on Glebe Road? I cannot find any plans or permissions for the site. cheers
Malcolm Robinson
Phase 1 of a 2 stage development, but there should be plans somewhere for it. Our 'planning champion' is on holiday so I can't ask for a site reference! If I remember correctly, first builds will be along the lines of what went in at the Terrier Site. Second phase will be 2 bedroom 'OAP' homes. I will stand to be corrected on this.
Adam Hogg
The same thing is happening at Glebe Road (Glebe Court) as what happened at the Terrier Pub (Terrier Site), bungalows are being built by Bernicia. I don't know about the second phase Malcolm is talking about, maybe a member of the Town Council can comment and answer the questions as they should know whats going on.
