Does any part of New Hartley mine still standing as a memorial Adam ?

No part of New Hartley Colliery was left standing after it closed, however there is a memorial to those who died in the disaster in Earsdon.

 

The only thing left of it is what i think is the filled and capped shaft.

I think this will be the old shaft of New Hartley Colliery.
