The meetings are held in the Bedlington Christian Fellowship Church on the last Monday of the Month Sept To May (except Dec) at 7:30!

Our forum Meetings seem to clash

28th Oct

24th March

These meetings start at 6:30

Slight conflict of interest, maybe no one would want to go to both.

The THI event was very good !

The History Society explained about Canon Whitley being a 'Senior Wrangler'

There is a plaque in his memory in the church near the high altar.

It seems he was a friend to Charles Darwin and William Wordsworth

Put them on the town calendar - it's easy, and help is always available (just PM Malc ;) )!

BTW I've seen the future of the calendar (spanking new software in test), but my lips are sealed! :D

The slip /up is the 24th is not the last day of the month!

The History Society is to still go ahead with the 24th !

So still a clash, with the Forum meeting.

What a knowledgable audience last night.

The Colliery Rows are living memories for most of us here in Bedlington

The days of the veg plot with pigs and chickens in the garden. These days may return as the food runs out.

Next meeting is Monday the 28th April and is

The Golden Age of Northumbria

Mrs A Swearman

Not sure in these days you could send a girl a present like this!!!

Monday March 30th 2015 the History Society.

Mr Bill Saunders

The Cooperative Movement.

Usual venue The Coffin Chapel at 7:30.

'Food for Thought'

A Cooperative Society could be the answer for Bedlington and the future.

Why invest in multinationals !

Local individual and different.

Every town centre is the same let's make ours unique.
