March 1, 201412 yr Aurora Borealis the display here on Thursday was spectacular.We missed the show , did anyone witness the great event!
March 1, 201412 yr No We went out a month or so ago and went up to Boulmer.....didn't see a bloody thing. We never checked any internet gubbins until it was too late the other night then no visibility last night. Humph!

March 2, 201412 yr I've seen them before from the north coast of Scotland but nothing as dramatic as the sight from here the other night. Even from the Hazelrigg estate there was some terrific pictures.
March 2, 201412 yr Yeah saw then on Thursday and got some good pics. Headed to the unlit path around the bottom of the Hazelmere estate away from street lights and got an incredible view.
