Malcolm Robinson Posted March 19, 2014 Report Posted March 19, 2014 I hesitate to post this. http://www.newspostleader.co.uk/news/local/ambitious-plans-to-develop-leisure-site-1-6507646?utm_medium=twitter&utm_source=twitterfeed
Adam Hogg Posted March 19, 2014 Report Posted March 19, 2014 Ok so situation so far since 2009 (end of WDC) The investment in the area (rough figures): Ashington £145 million, Blyth £2 million, Cramlington £3 million, Bedlingtonshire -£301,500,000.and the figures in the area are rising while Bedlingtonshire keeps falling. So who is saying everywhere else gets the money and Bedlingtonshire gets nothing?I don't know EVERYONE!
Maggie/915 Posted March 19, 2014 Report Posted March 19, 2014 Surely the figures are£301,500!If the figures are more where has the money gone!A break down of the figures is needed! We all know how little Bedlington has by way of Sports Centres etc
Adam Hogg Posted March 19, 2014 Report Posted March 19, 2014 The Power station at Cambois which is Bedlingtonshire was worth £300 million to the local economy which was lost, we lost £1 million from the "Sale" of the gap site and car park to Tescos and of course £500,000 lost from the sale of the golf course. So all together we have lost £301,500,000.
Malcolm Robinson Posted March 28, 2014 Author Report Posted March 28, 2014 Again......... http://www.newspostleader.co.uk/news/local/ceremony-marks-start-of-new-21m-centre-1-6528921
Adam Hogg Posted March 28, 2014 Report Posted March 28, 2014 Could they not have given us (bedlington) the extra £1 million?
