Here's a bit of a photo quiz for you all...

Where is it?

What is it?

Is it new?

I can't confirm any correct answers (with the exception of the location) as I don't know myself mind. I just saw it and thought you may be able to quench my nosey nature.

It looks like a remnant of the old houses, formerly Bedlington Iron Company offices which stood on the North side of the Furnace Bridge until they were demolished in the 1960's or so!

I bet that it's the altar on which Labour members of WDC sacrificed absolutely all their socialist principals.

This never needed to be too big because those principals were pretty small-minded anyway.

I remember them Joe, as I remember one of them was a house I seem to remember people living in them in the fifties. There was a conka tree behind one of them we used to climb up to get the conkas when we were kids.
