March 28, 201511 yr Apolgies if this has already been mentioned, but hear NCC are in consultation with Aldi, the plan they buy the council offices, demolish them and build a new store. Its part of the nine town plan, whatever that is, which includes knocking down Morpeth \Library before it falls down, and building houses. What amazes me, they would consider building a new store when Tesco buildings will be standing empty.
