Hello to all in the forum.

Ive recently joined due to the fact I have a few friends on here and they recommended it, so thought id give it a try. I lived in Bedlington all my life until couple of years ago when I moved to Lemington.

Ive recently started to learn magic, so was hoping to see of theres any magicians on here for advice or tips.

This thread could go on and on.

No 'disappearing act' here.

Good choice of name.

On a serious note Bedlington needs a magical approach.

You mean inivisible thread.i dont see it.i love magic and hope to learn alot more along the way

My father-in-law was a great magician, 'Erlandino'. Sadly no longer with us but one of his grandchildren, my husbands eldest son, inherited his box of tricks and is doing very well. He's also passing the secrets on to his son. My husband and I do a very good mind-reading act which we learned from Erlandino. Always a Winner at parties!

Malc, you have a great collection of music!!

Jmagic, when I was 15 yrs old,[in 1959],one of the pit instructors was a lovely friendly guy,well-liked by all thi young trainees, whose name was Mr Alldis.

He carried two sugar-cube - shaped sponges in his coat pocket, and ivry noo and then he would pull one oot ya lug,and mek it appear up  ya nose,or summik funny like that!!

He would make them disappear, and re-appear under your lapel.......shift from hand to hand, loads of little fast tricks,so fast you couldn't keep track of his movements!![and they cost nothing, gud cheap enterainment!]

I'm sure he was a member of the Magic Circle,is that checkable?

I wud love to know if his family kept the tradition up..
