Anybody know what's going on in the old shoe shop as there were a couple of joiners in there today

Wouldn't be surprised if it was going to be a hairdressers, solicitors, estate agents or florists

We certainly need more of them. "Come to Bedlington: buy a house, sue someone, get yourself a posey and have your hair done" (plus get a tattoo, have a beer, buy dinner.....)

You missed one Merc, see the artistic chewing gum patterns as you walk from the car park up past the Market Tavern.

A while ago there were some workers in the shop, Joiners presumably and they were in there for what seemed like 4 or 5 weeks and everytime I passed they seemed to be on a break. When they left the shop it seemed the same as it was before they arrived, unfinished.

Maybes they are the same workers back again. It must be a dream job.

Rumour has it there's a new shop coming imminently to the Front Street that isn't a hairdressers, solicitors, estate agents or florists.

I  heard it was going to be an Ann Summers shop?

Why not just leave it empty - it will fit in with the rest of Bedlington - unwanted and unloved!

Hopefully not with the 'Make a Noise for Bedlington ' campaign on Facebook.
