The international crony-capitalist corporates are going to try to paint our leaving the EU as a negative act - the referendum question will undoubtedly be framed that way.  But, actually, it's a series of very positive acts.  So, don't be conned into accepting their proposition that anyone who supports OUT is "a little Englander".

Adam Fitchett in Europe wrote these ten positive reasons to leave on May 19th 2015:

1) We need a controlled, fair and ethical immigration policy which doesn't discriminate against countries such as India, Australia and New Zealand. We need to preserve Britain's public services, by managing demand and privileging skilled immigrants.

2) Britain needs to reclaim its proud democratic heritage. We the people must have the power to make our own decisions. We must believe in each other, and in the efficacy of our own democratic institutions. We are good enough to run our own country.

3) Britain's fishing industry can flourish outside the EU. We can reclaim our waters, and see the same success as countries like Norway.

4) British business (especially small businesses) can prosper once we leave the EU. Businesses will be much freer. They will be regulated by democratically elected institutions, and will hence have a say over that regulation. Common sense will be returned to the world of business.

5) Controlling our own borders means controlling our own security. The UK will be safer outside the EU. We will continue to fulfil our obligations vis-à-vis those seeking asylum, but will do so in a managed fashion.

6) Let us have a free, fair, popular capitalism. Outside the EU, we can have a capitalism that benefits the worker and the small business owner, rather than just the large corporations. We can have a more transparent and democratic system. We can have a government that works for the benefit of every class.

7) Let's bring responsibility back to Europe. Let's make Britain an independent country, that uses free, mutually beneficial trade to maintain bridges with its neighbours. Let's encourage other countries to achieve financial independence. Let's make sure that those in power are always accountable when they make mistakes.

8) Traditional British values, values like free speech, free trade, responsibility and private property, need to be upheld and reinforced. We should encourage a civic patriotism based on shared values, so that everyone can feel part of a free, functioning democracy. We should aim to unite our communities. Our country is more than a star on somebody else's flag.

9) We need sensibly managed finances and a careful, targeted reduction of our spending and debt. We'll be much more able to control our finances when we're free of the EU. Let's return money to the pockets of British people, to the pockets of consumers, workers and entrepreneurs. We need to focus on getting our own economy back on track.

10) Let's be a gobal trading nation, that looks beyond the boundaries of Europe. Once we've left the EU, we can do what Iceland has done and sign our own trade agreements with countries like China. When we sign our own treaties, we can set the terms for ourselves, making sure that valuable institutions are protected.

This is one thing that clear thinkers on both right and left are united on.  People as far apart in political thinking as the late Tony Benn and JCB boss Lord Bamford believe it's the rational way forward for our country.  Huge amounts of tainted corporate money are going to be spent on scare campaigns to try to convince everyone otherwise.  Last time around the Euro-liars outspent the NO campaigners ten to one, and they are going to try the same thing on again.  I was young enough and silly enough to vote Yes, and I'm going to try my damnedest to ensure that today's youngsters are not similarly fooled.

John Redwood tells the truth too.  Pity that he's simply too honest to be in Dodgy Dave's cabinet!

The truth about the UK's membership is it was sold then and now as necessary to our trade with the EU. We all want free trade with the other member states. The good news is our trade is not in danger whatever the outcome of the vote. Germany has made clear it wants to carry on selling us cars and other manufactured goods, and does not want new tariffs or barriers in its way. The UK has no intention of erecting any such obstacles, and is happy to find a convenient way of carrying on with all their and our trade intact, just as the companies that said they would leave if we did not join the euro are still here and investing in the UK.

And for reasons of equality.......http://proeuropa.org.uk/twelevereasons/

A pack of lies and half-truths, starting with #1!  Notice that there they now say jobs "linked to" and not dependent on (the blatant Nick Clegg lie), and they also say "European Union's single market" and not simply the EU.  Norway is already outside the EU but in the European Union's single market.

Those jobs would not disappear, in fact there would be more UK jobs as we expanded our global trade. The EU is a contracting market mired in bureaucracy.  We'd surely maintain our trading relationships though, because the EU can not afford not to trade with us.  We buy far more from Germany than they buy from us, and without the UK economy the EU will sink even faster than it is already doing.  Overriding all this are the EU treaties which state that the two year notice period for leaving is to negotiate a trading relationship "on favourable terms". If the worst were to happen, and the EU bit it's own nose off to spite it's face, we'd be faced with a piddling 1.8% tariff barrier against our goods, which we'd recoup several times over by retaliating against German goods - so, that simply ain't going to happen!  The EU originated when worldwide trade barriers were far higher, and so this (and the EU) becomes increasingly irrelevant.

This is how the bureaucratic EU is performing (dark blue line) against the "Anglo Saxon economics" which those Brussels mandarins so hate.

These stats come from the EU and the European Central Bank no less; so if anything would downplay EU under-performance!

Happy to tackle the rest of those lies, but just look where they come from.  The Brussels Council of the British European Movement, Square de Meeûs 25, 1000, Brussels - EU propaganda bought and paid for by our own money!

We need you In Bedlington threegee to unravel the truth !

It truly is a state of irritation that we have people justifying the current state of play in Bedlington.

Other towns even Pegswood with a population of about 3,000 have more to offer their residents.
