moe19 Posted May 28, 2016 Report Posted May 28, 2016 (edited) I often watch films on the British Film Institute (BFI) site, some you pay for but many are free, I noticed today that a map has been added to the site and you can select an area and view films from that area for free. (at the moment) Well worth a look, here is a link to a couple I enjoyed, many more to chose from http://player.bfi.org.uk/film/watch-mining-review-10th-year-no-11-1957/ http://player.bfi.org.uk/film/watch-seaton-burn-flower-show-and-sports-1919/ Edited May 28, 2016 by moe19
moe19 Posted May 28, 2016 Author Report Posted May 28, 2016 Here is a link to the map for anyone who wants to have a search for more films , you can expand the map using your mouse and reveal more towns and villages http://player.bfi.org.uk/britain-on-film/map/ 1
moe19 Posted July 23, 2016 Author Report Posted July 23, 2016 (edited) Some new films have been added. I rather enjoyed this one, you may even see someone you know . http://player.bfi.org.uk/film/watch-the-coast-of-kings-1962/ Edited July 23, 2016 by moe19
Canny lass Posted July 23, 2016 Report Posted July 23, 2016 For some reason the site will no longer allow me to view. It says the film is not authorised to be shown in my country:
moe19 Posted July 23, 2016 Author Report Posted July 23, 2016 Try this Canny Lass it should work https://www.hidemyass.com/proxy
Canny lass Posted July 23, 2016 Report Posted July 23, 2016 Still no luck but thanks for trying, Moe.
