Why paramedics are spending weeks queuing in the newest emergency centre.An investigation by the BBC's Inside Out programme found that over nine months ambulance crews spent almost 2,900 hours in queues - the equivalent of an on-duty paramedic waiting an entire year.

It now looks like even more pressure is being piled on Cramlington

This week the trust announced that during the winter months the opening hours at urgent care centres in Hexham, Wansbeck and North Tyneside would be cut from 24-hours to 8am to midnight, seven days a week.
