Improvements to Bedlington.co.uk

Featured Replies

I've made a few subtle usability tweaks to the site over the last few days particularly on mobile. I hope everyone likes the changes, if there's anything you find awkward or you think could use improvement please reply here.

Not so sure the new logo is quite as stylish as the old one.  Apologies to whoever put the time in on it.

One thing; when I go to post a reply on a topic I've already posted on, it automatically quotes my previous post?

Although it didn't this time - very odd!

If you click "quote" next to a post it will include that post in the editor. You can also select text manually and you'll get a "quote this" pop up that will just add the highlighted text in a quote.

If you start typing a reply or creating a new topic the editor text is saved every second to your phone/computer so if you lose connection or decide you want to come back to it later it will be reinstated.

There was a bug where the last reply would not be removed which is probably what you hit. I fixed this yesterday which is why it doesn't do it anymore. If it happens again let me know. Thanks.

Thanks Andy, will do (hasn't happened here!)
