Yes it was said to be canny. It holds the record for the smallest projection box in the world for any cinema. the projectionist was on his knees there was no height either.

If you wanted to go upstairs it was only one step to go up. and that was really your upstairs.

Ganny Mather was the lady in charge and she kept law and order in there and if you worked yourself you were OUT.

She was always dressed in black too.
