Comment on Facebook Bedlington remembered group by Alan Brady :- Alan Brady Nedderton village school had two years in each class. This is my class but for some reason I'm not in the photo but wor Dave is and he is 1 and a 1/2 years younger than me. Miss Short was the teacher. She also taught both my Mam and Dad.

Number 14 is Miriam Whiteoak. She lived in Station Road Stannington. We were best friend along with Sandra Climpson, and Joan Robson.

I would have been 6 then, and moved to bedlington so ended up in westend infants school . Thanks for looking them up anyway brings back memories of running down the front of Clifton row going to school 

Well spotted @Canny lass - No 21 corrected to John Appleby just like Bob Turnbull, who named most of them, had typed - it was my typing that was wrong
