Hello everybody, I am totally new to this and hope i am doing this right. I was born in bedlington and still live here and have some fond memories and old school photos of the 'Woody' school from 1969 - 1972. (We moved to princess louise road after the school burnt down.) I will be adding the photos soon - and that is the reason why I am joining. My brother and myself are trying to remember when the Woody school went up in flames - we think 1970. He is joining this forum too so we will be able to share our thoughts. So hello to everyone and hope to relive some memories. Keith Lockey.

Hi everyone. I'm brand new to this site, and would LOVE any help manoeuvring my way around here. A little bit about me. I was born 1955, and lived at Bolam place till 1959. From there, i moved to Terrier Close, then in 1976, i got married, and lived at St. Mary's Hospital, Stannington for 6 years. I moved back to Bedlington in 1982 for approx 12 years, then i moved to Dudley, and now live in Annitsford. It's only recently that ive developed an interest in local history, and i would love to contact people with an interest in it too. Ive got some old school photos which i hope to put on ( once i work out how to do it ) and i hope some of my old class mates, if there are any on this site, enjoy viewing them. My brother Keith just joined here today too. Once again...ANY HELP would be most appreciated on this site, and many thanks to anyone / everyone, for taking the time to read this.
