  1. I can only get away with saying that Malcolm because she does'nt visit this site.
  2. No..........my wife took over, she knows everything.
  3. There are establishments in the town that do not permit bad language, Bedlington Market place Club being one of them.if it is used on these premises the customer is asked to refrain and if it happens again they would be asked to leave. The management would then decide if they will accept an apology or ban the customer for a set period. As for you stating that you have not had a complaint about bad language being used on your premises,if you refer back to your first post YOU WERE THE ONE THAT COMPLAINED. You started to dig a hole for yourself with your first post by condemning your own customers and its getting deeper and deeper.
  4. Sorry I hav'nt Adam but here's a one of the Market Place Netties being pulled down instead. :dribble:
  5. This post proves the point that I was trying to make, the initial accusation is bringing bad publicity to the town, The sad part is if you read his comments on the subject he contradicts himself and still has'nt answered the question "do you tolerate bad language in your pub" Don't let this guy put you off patronising the towns pubs, we're not all bad
  6. So is your establishment swearing or non swearing?
  7. Happy Birthday......take a day off
  8. The mistake was He/She said "most of the drinking fraternity" There are decent people in the town using the public houses that have been insulted by this comment and I would'nt say they were in the minority. If He/She has a problem in their pub they need to ask themselves what they are going to do about it rather than moan about it on a world wide website, and giving the town a bad name.
  9. I used to drink in the Half Moon as well. :icecream:
  10. The above comment was your mistake, foul and abusive language is not used by "most of the drinking fraterity in Bedlington" I can't comment on the Black Bull but do frequent other pubs in the town where there is'nt a problem, the management would not tolerate it anyway. Do You?
  11. We must be real good looking guys Malc, seems we're always being screwed.
  12. Any new found wealth that the council receive from parking fines should be "Ring Fenced" and used to make a Compulsory Purchase of the former Elliots Garage Site. If any council house tennant allowed their garden to get into the state that this place has been left in,untouched for the last 5 weeks, they would be evicted. The local councillors need to act quick though, because the last time we had money I beleive it was from the sale of the Golf Club and it was nicked from under our noses by our neighbours who shall remain nameless,...........But it begins with an "A"
  13. But have you noticed how they keep their heads down and don't have any input on these controversial matters on this website? Never mind we'll be hearing plenty from them when they want our vote.
  14. This sites already gone to the Dogs.
  15. Like The new shop fronts on the main street are looking great, I've just noticed the similarity to the Wharton in the old days!!
  16. But they have thick skins and the people who voted them in have short memories.
  17. Looks like were thinking on the same wavelength Cyril, but there are still tickets left for the "Guess the Year of Removal" competition, Why not try your luck? First prize is a Gallon of Diesel and the lucky runner up will receive a Hot Pasty from Greggs.
  18. Jack Bruce, Bass player in the 60s supergroup Cream at the Tyne Theatre last night...........very good
  19. There's been no progress for three weeks now Cyril, we've still got the pile of rubbish in the Town Centre. It will look a lot better by mid August after we've had rain and its covered with lush green weeds. Neither Ladbrokes or Charlie Chisolm are taking bets on a removal date,so maybe the members on this forum should run a "Guess The Year for Removal" competition among ourselves.
  20. Tops of a good week for them, we should all go out and get some cheap booze before they get their price changes forced through.I'll hire the Jazz Band and we can have a party when they get kicked out.
  21. Yes you got it in one, Unfortunately it is the same Conservation Area. If you care to look across the road from these 2 eyesores you cannot miss the third one which was manufactured by the company that promised to build a new Supermarket. The former Spend n Save/Fancy That shop must come top of the Slum League. Tesco has not only turned this place into the sight that it is,they have also denied the Bedlington folk of a business that hasn't been replaced. Keep checking your emails I'm sure somebody from the council will get onto you with all the answers.
