Doglover, The toilets are locked because they are on Tesco property and NCC declared them as non-strategic. Tesco had promised to provide publicly assessable toilets within their new development but as we can see that ain't going to happen now so these toilets are just another casualty of this failed development. Something needs to be done because as far as I can see these ARE the most strategic public conveniences in the Town! (In this context 'strategic' means ones tourists or visitors might need.) They had just been revamped months before they were closed. Just another slap in the face for the Town but then there is quite a litany of similar smears!

So Nigel spurned Marie's advances to go with De Gaul. Can't understand why he wouldn't want to be associated with National Front terminology! Meanwhile Geert has just targeted Dutch Moroccans for special treatment. Trouble with this far right stuff is that we end up in bunkers..........probably literally! (Just trying to break up the "Love Fest" GGG! )

I wasn't able to see it first hand but one of the staff told me there were 3 car booters there last Sunday? If its hoped to reinvigorate the store like that then might as well call it the CO OP!

Its Tesco's land and the deal was the new store would have publicly accessible toilets. No new store no toilets! This toilet block had only just been refurbed shorty before it was closed. We will soon see the closed ones at Attlee Park demolished. Bit surprised at Tesco thinking a car boot on a Sunday would help them regain lost trade?

Hmm, all the political parties have accounts there don't they? Would make an interesting challenge, conflicts of interests, if the CO-OP has to be bailed out or even helped with tax payer's monies wouldn't it?
