To be fair to him Foxy he has been to Bedlington every year .

He was, but Bedlington was part of the Morpeth constituency till the current Wansbeck constituency was formed in 1983, when George Grant stood down as MP and Jack Thompson became MP.

The last time I think Bedlington was represented at a local level was pre 1974 (Bedlingtonshire Urban District Council) and in Parliament the only local person we have had was between 1970 - 1983 with George Grant who was a Bedlington Lad.

It is the old Bedlington water reservoir then it became the standby water reservoir for Blyth Power station before it closed in 2001, The pumping station was located at Humford Woods which pumped water from the River Blyth up to the reservoir.
