  1. @Stu hunter - just had a quick Google for Gallagher Park Music festival 2019 and found this :- http://whatsoninthenortheast.co.uk/event/gallagher-park-live-music-festival/90647 Gallagher Park Live Music Festival Bedlington Gallagher Park Bedlington’s fabulous free festival GALLAGHER PARK LIVE MUSIC FESTIVAL is confirmed for Saturday 27th July 2019! Headlined by Matt Cardle last year, the music festival returns to the North East. It’s everything you would expect from a festival including a wide variety of bands and entertainment to entertain all the family along with fantastic local food. Headlining the festival this year are THE SOUTH (featuring members of The Beautiful South), along with teenage idol CHLOE ROSE, JACK & TIM and CBeebies presenter SID SLOANE! THE SOUTH Celebrating their 10th year anniversary and 30 years since The Beautiful South released ‘Song For Whoever’, The South are an impressive 9 piece band who feature former members of The Beautiful South including singer Alison Wheeler and lifelong sax player Gaz Birtles. Since Dave Hemingway, the original singer, left the group at the end of 2016, Gaz has moved across to front the band with Alison and taken on vocal duties. They play the songs made famous by The Beautiful South and bring back the full flavour and arrangements with this exciting live band. After a successful year of touring the theatres and festivals of the UK up and down the country, The South are keeping alive all those timeless songs - A Little Time (the number one single), Perfect 10, Rotterdam, Song For Whoever, Old Red Eyes Is Back, Good as Gold, Don't Marry Her plus many more singles and album tracks as well as a few choice South originals. All performed again live, these songs span an impressive 20 year career starting way back in 1989! Come on! Let’s Carry On… Regardless! East Bedlington Parish Council Chariman Keith Grimes said, “This fabulous festival formally known as Northumberland Live Bedlington is back with a new name and a new look taking place at Gallagher Park in Bedlington this Summer, where we are thrilled to welcome The South as being our headline act this year having recently completed a successful Spring 2019 UK tour, alongside Chloe Rose and CBeebies presenter Sid Sloane. This festival is suitable for all members of the family.

  20. @Rigger - names updated.
  21. @Liz Moore - any member of this group, when signed in, can take a copy aof any of the photos that are posted within this group. I don't use a handheld/mobile device but from my PC, using the mouse, if you left click on the image it enlarges and then if you right click the system gives you a number of options of which one is 'Save image' and selecting that option you get the option to name the file the system is about to download to your device. If you would prefer the info emailed to you then the best way, so as not to broadcast your email address etc. to the rest of the world is to send a Personal Message, by selecting the envelope logo at the top right of the page you can send a personal message to me - Alan Edgar (Eggy 1948) - with your email address and I will email you whatever info you request that is available on this site. . That small photo of Double Row, Barrington, is the only one I can remember having seen on this group but there is at least one on the Facebook group - Barrington, Barnt' n memories and stuff!!
  22. Photo from Joan Wood - Facebook, Bedlington remembered and names from Jo and many other members.
  23. @joe Callahan -normally the best way to alert a member that you are after a re sponse from a comment you have made is to add the members name, preceded by an '@' like I have done with this one. It does depend on the setting the member has , either to recieve notifications or not, but doesn't do any harm to use that method. When you start typing the name eg @johndawsonjune1955 that members name tag will pop up and you select that. John Dawson is not a frequent visitor to this site. When you hover over the members name tag the system gives you some info on that person. I did that for John and it shows the last time he logged into this site was 5 months ago :-
