sorry, been offline a few days.... i once applied for a job where i got the usual reply: Dear Mr Darn, We are sorry to inform you that your application for imployment has been unsucsessful at this time. however your aplication will be kept on file for fut......etc i replied: Dear sir or madam, I am sorry to inform your company that the rejection of an offer of employment has been rejected at this time. i would also like to take this opertunity inform you that a follow up interview is expected in the next few weeks where a suitable position will be expected to be offered. The wage for the expected position will also be negotiable as minimum wage is not acceptable. Looking forward to your responce, Regards, Mr Darn Amazingly the company rang the next day after the letter was delivered and offered another interview!!! I diddnt get the job then either!!!! points for trying tho!!

well, where do i start.... me and miss darn have been seriously thinking of moving in together (yeah yeah, ok, calm down...) i have a full time job, she has 2 young children, one under 3. the under 3 goes to Bedlington Bears (thats another £20 commission please!!) from 9-11.30 we went to see her advisor; this was her advice: 1, we should move in together without delay. 2, i should give up my full time job, as i would get more from working families tax credits if i only worked 16 hours a week instead of the 50 hours nightshift i do now. she went on to tell us about all the free dental care, prescriptions etc i would then be entitled to, as well as the free childcare if Miss Darn was to work 16 hours too. I for one find it disgusting that i am actually better off claiming benifit than working a 50 hour nightshift week. i am also disgusted that an official would advise me to do this. all in all, whoever the person was that 'grassed' us in to the council, has just cost the council more in benifit payments than could ever be accounted for during the 5 nights (well days) i sleep in miss darns bed, while she claims for a single person with 2 children in a 3 bed house... it sickens me that we now live in a society that does not allow a man to go out and earn the bread and butter for his family, but encourages them to take state handouts to be 'better off' any views?

well, heres one for you... how about the moderators/regulars of this site start up a little puzzle game? what we can do is, take close up views of the sights around bedlington, then give 24 hours for everyone to guess where it is? obviously posting a full size image afterwards. what do you think? i think it could be fun, and might make a few of the lurkers out there have a few guesses, as well as filling the site with images of bedlington. maybe even have a 'was/now' section too! let me know what you think...

i saw one yesterday, outside the football ground.... went to get my phone o take a pic, and the phone is gone! (damn you miss darn!!!) but, in its place, it a creditless pay as you go camera phone!! i quickly navagate to the photo section, opened the application, aimed...... battery died. just not ment to get a picture i suppose!!!

or because they ban alcohol.... after all, its about the only drug besids caffine that is a stimulant and still legal to take without a prescription!! ASDA has caused upraw among the educational system, they have upped their 'knives and anything to do with smoking' policy to the 'chalenge 21' status. now anyone under 21, that does not have I.D to show they are over 18 cannot buy these items! Schoolchildren in blyth are up in arms!!! (but still getting their fix at the local 'corner shop')

i've got to say, if a weary traveler, roaming the north east for a decent restarant, asked me where i would recomend, i would point them in the direction of Bedlington Front Street and inform them the curry house to the right of the TSB bank is first class... Ideal for a Take-Away, and more than ideal as a location for a first date of some discription. I myself have had a few Buisness meetings there and everyone was impressed on each occasion. My vote goes to ASHIANNA!!!

Yup, i believe ASDA's goal is £5000. be nice if everyone could help them on their way towards it! saw on lad searching the car park for lost pennies at about 5am the other morning, he came in, proud as punch, declaired he'd found £1.98 worth.... ...then promptly went to the wines department and selected a fine bottle of 2006 lambrini. And i thought he was doing it to help our charity, not his own!!! lol Oh how such a simple gesture can be mistaken at 5am!
