  1. i hear there is a good one at the first school....
  2. i've heared of a few people who have taken this route, only to be threatened with account closure. the solicitor i contacted will take on my case, do all the digging and letter writing, and all on a no win no fee basis. if he wins, he takes either 20% of the amount awarded or £200, whichever is the greater. sounds good to me!
  3. found this on another forum, just wanted to share: Can you resist it? 4. dunno about just bedlington, but has anyone else seen all the adverts about getting bank charges back for the last 6 years? i was a skeptic at first, but now the solicitors are advertising 'no win no fee'. Me myself have been charged into the thousands over the last 6 years, so no-win no fee sounds good to me! might even start a new thread on this topic!
  5. I'm sure your comments these last few months are meant to be taken in a joke sort of way, but if they had been directed at me, i would have taken offense by now. i have no idea what your relationship with denzel etc. is really like, as i was not a member of the previous board. I do hope all this 'banter' is in a friendly sense, otherwise i am quite appalled! are you all friends?
  6. thats a good idea, whoever thought of that must be just the best!!

  10. Heres a few pictures i recieved by e-mail All these drawings where drawn by Julian Beever Julian Beever is an English artist who's famous for his art on the pavement of England, France, Germany, USA, Australia and Belgium. I personally think this lad has a talent that needs recognized! perhaps he could be contacted to do a drawing of a bedlington terrier or something! or maybe not! his drawings are still good!
  11. you think maybe the admins of this site overlooked my rather serious suggestion?

  15. What a marvelous name for a pub! just imaging: "dearest, i'm just popping down the Gym for a quick session. dont wait up!" reminds me of a pub called 'the post office' i once went to whilst working away. either in Edinburgh Hull or Lincoln, i cant remember which. a wetherspoons if i'm not mistaken!
  16. Marital? nope, the only way miss darn will be engaged this year is if she uses public toilets, and i wont mention my version of putting a ring on her finger! as for discord, yup!
  17. Apparently i am a bit slow, and may have caused offense to a baldy man named Damien who uses this board. if this is the case, let me take this opportunity to appologise, and assure no pun, offense or reference to the above described user was meant or intended. the damien referred to was the one with the horns from underground!
  18. miss darn, you need to get stuffed! (edited!)

  23. Hi all, My father is a retired fishing enthusiast, and owns his own 31ft sea fishing pleasure boat. unfortunately, my interest in sea fishing stops at the end of the pier, as i am violently seasick. the sea has to be like a millpond for me to go out. this leaves my good dad in a predicament. Basically, i'm looking for a few trustworthy people, who have an (outside) interest in sea fishing, to get in touch. All i'm wanting is a few future good friends for my dad to take fishing, so he gets the chance to go out too. (due to common sence, he cannot go out alone), we will supply rods, reels, line, life jacket, basic boat and radio handling training(in case of emergency) and a few hours fishing for the right 'applicants'(obviously just for free rental, not to keep!). all you need is something to lure them with, and £200 burial money. Although the burial money was a joke, we have limited lures and sinkers, and we can supply them the first few times, but obviously this venture cant cost us any extra money, so we would prefer you supply your own. For more information, please private message me, including a phone number and any other details you think i might need. (the boat is moored at north Blyth, is 31ft with high sides and a wheelhouse for bad weather.(picture available) we have fish finders, GPS and ship to shore radio, as well as several life jackets. we also have basic cooking facilities, so a hot meal (lol) is available to budding chefs. get in touch, even if its just for a look!) or, if you cant work out the message system, just leave a note on this thread and I'll contact you. please remember, this is not a commercial fishing boat, its a pleasure fishing boat. No guarantees are made about fish catches, fishing times or locations, and unforeseeable events cancel trips all the time. We do not fish in 'stupid' weather, but sometimes we can go as far as 20 miles + off, so make sure we know before you come aboard if you don't want to go that far out. trips can last between 5 and 24 hours, but approximate times (to the hour) are given before each trip.(as we have to tell the harbour master what time we are expected back)
  24. As a few of us have noticed recently, the board is becoming very quiet, and i think this is due to the fact not many people realize its back! (or that it was here in the first place!) Are the founders of Bedlington.co.uk planning on releasing advertising? i for one would love to sport a funky www.bedlington.co.uk sticker on the back of my car. Why not use this thread as a measure of demand, just to see if it is worth a look into! If not, would you (the founders) have a problem with anyone advertising the site in this way? (non profit of course!) obviously, to begin with it would have to be a 'cash up front' venture, as i'm sure no-one would foot the bill for the outlay, but I'm sure in a few months, car stickers and stickers in the windows of local buisnesses will start popping up everywhere. and, the more popular the site gets, the more interest businesses will take in advertisement on the site, who will receive more trade, which will attract more businesses to the town, who will advertise, getting the benifit of this increased trade, which will.... Am i waffling again? imagine if this one post fueled the economic revolution of bedlington!
