Actually to be precise its Donna Cram, she has opened up a lingerie shop.shes going to do allsorts of ranges including a wedding range as well so I believe. I have not yet visited the outlet but no doubt I shall be a regular customer

Hi Everyone!! Just a little message to say that the dun cow has new owners, angie and her daughter caroline. theres a party on sat nite and everyones welcome, it'll be a 1am finish and theres karaoke and buffet going to be on. For those who are interested I will be there monday, tuesday, wednesday till about 8 if any of me long lost pals fancy a drink up there. we've been working loads to try and give it a spring clean and its looking fresh!!

think theres some condition to the land or something so Ive been told.............the land was donated to them so therefore they cannot build anything on it apart from what is already there...................something like that anyway

chance would be a fine thing pete, nah not much going on up here concerning the no smoking ban. its only 95 days to go or something like that now, woohoo!!!Ive stopped smoking for bout 2 months now ready for the ban coming in. makes life alot more simple

If thats the way you feel then your obviously the kind of person that they dont want drinking in there. The tavern has been 'updated', we have new carpets, its been decorated and yes 'theres new tables and chairs'. Personally if people like you dont want to come in the place then who cares, we have great customers who have the upmost respect in the place and thats what we want. Miss vic. We have a massive charity event happening on June 15th, 16th and 17th to raise money for cystic fibrosis. also easter sunday we are trying to raise money for the childrens hospital (one of the regulars Frankie Cram in charge of that one). Something else you might be interested in is we are having a 50's night next saturday as its one of the bar staffs birthdays and we have a 50's band playing. we have new curtains and the place has actually just been refurbished Yeah because its nobodys business how much the pub gets as an allowance for letting a-covert manage our car park. I truly do believe that the clamping is right as its a private property which is to be used by customers only.like i said in the first place the reason they started was because they couldn't get the draught lorry into car park because there was a woman parked in teh way of the cellar doors. She was asked to move and just smirked and said i can park where i want and walked away, now why should they put up with that kind of attitude from somebody when they were asked politely to move??? Its exactly the same as a stranger parking in your driveway and you ask them to move and they say tough im stayin here for as long as i like. Obviously there is a little bit of give and take with clamping people but at the end of the day when your on private property its up to the companies discression as to how they deal with it. I did the decent thing in the first place by warning you all in the first place and now everybody has a go at me because I was trying to be nice before anybody ended up not knowing and paying £125 for being clamped

sorry to disappoint you yet again but what part of THE MARKET TAVERN AND ALL THE OTHER BUSINESS'S RECEIVE A FIXED AMOUNT EACH MONTH WHICH IS LESS THAN A 100 QUID.ALL THE MONEY THAT DEREK MAKES FROM CLAMPING IS HIS OWN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think its a great idea tpo have a video game shop. although you should be very careful about it as we dont have a very good passing trade at the minute, suppose you could give it a go.it may work out

opening times are 12-12 monday to saturday and sundays 12-10.30. we normally busy on a friday and saturday, we have bands on and they start between 9pm and 9.30pm and finish roughly about 11.30pm.
