yeah but surely if youve got people parking in your car park that you own you have the right to employ someone like that??I know the sun has a big car park and people who never go in just use it for convenience even though theres 2 little car parks behind the blue bell and a massive one behind somerfield.how lazy are bedlingtons people these days??I say pedestrianize bedlington front street that would be good althought it would never happen

ive had bad experiences in ridge and sometimes you can wait ages at the bar or for your meal but if you go at the right time its usually good all round

our beer is never warm, as the bar manager monitors the cellar temperature at all times and theres cooling fans in the cellar too

If you are a customer then you need to tell a member fo staff your registration number and we can tell the security blokey and he wont clamp u.what he does is clamps the car or whatever it is then cums into the pub to make sure that it doesnt belong to anyone then he'll unclamp it if it is, if it isnt we just stand at the window and watch them cum bk to find their car clamped

Right let me set you all straight at why we have employed a-covert security to deal with our car park....it all started when my boss asked a woman if she could move away from the cellar doors as we were gettin our deliveries any minute now. she said no u cant im afraid its my land, my car park and all i want u to do is move out of the way of the doors. she said no and then got out her car and went away. If the vans or whatever for the draught cannot get to the cellar doors they cannot deliver draught so therefore what do we do??also people take the piss parking in the car park and then we cant get in with our cars so hows that fair???We have started serving meals now and have been quite busy and if patrons cannot get into our car park then where are they going to park, yet people who shop at somerfield are parking in our car park so they can go in there. Exactly the same if sum1 parked in your drive and u cudnt get ur car in, what wud u say.ah well park there if u want mate doesnt matter, even though i need to be in MY drive,no bother. DONT THINK SO!!! think people who dont work in a pub forget that people have to live there and have to be able to get deliveries in in order to run their business. Can gurantee that the tavern is gettin busy at the wkends and we normally hav the most customers in our pub than any other in bedlington coz they come into watch our live music and drink gud beer!!! people are allowed to park in car park if they are coming into the pub, thats why the signs say patrons only the other day why the pub was shut is because we have been refurbished and trying to get everything sorted in order to serve meals, now the pub is open 11.30am till 12am

Just wanted to let everyone know that THE MARKET TAVERN IS NOW SERVING MEALS!! We have a wide variety pf meals including things like chickpea casserole, mushroom carbonara, scampi, salmon tagietellie, steak and ale pie and a few other delicacies. The best evening menu in town at reasonable prices. Lunch menu consists of sandwiches mainly and starts TOMORROW. LUNCHTIMES- 11.30-2.30 EVENING MEALS-5.30-8.30 Also beware as clamping is going on in our car park as non patrons keep on parking in it and its £125 quid to be unclamped so if you are in the pub then make sure you tell a member of staff your registration number
