It used to be Merlins kitchen shop. Well, it's now a hairdressers. Couldn't be a**** to PM Mr Darn to ask him to re-open the old thread. Will anyone be paying a visit? It's getting to the point now where us ladies are spoilt for choice regarding where to get our next haircut here in Bedlington.

Lots and lots of photos of students / teachers and even cleaners of Bedlington grammar school from the 20s to the 70s. A pub scenario was only one example. Regardless of where I go or what I do at my leisure, I would prefer not to end up smelling of bonfire and also not having to breathe in other peoples poison.

I hate going into pubs and not being able to breath for smoke, plus I always leave the places smelling like a hobo, like I've been sleeping beside a bin fire all night. I don't know what took the government so long to decide to put measures into place to protect those of us who dont willingly wish to kill ourselves.

Ok we've had a couple of "Guess Where / what" photos of places / things around Bedlington. Lets see if anyone can guess when this photo was taken. So heres the question: Since when did the Market Tavern have ALL of its front windows boarded up? Guess the year and the reason if you can!

The air cadets beside the garage at the station is still running... There was also an army cadet hut if thats the one you mean near the cricket club, dunno if that still runs though.
